Sri Lanka Presidential Election 2019 scheduled to be held on 16 November 2019.
The President of the Election Commission said that the final official result of the presidential election, which is scheduled to be held on November 16, is possible by noon on November 18.
Speaking at a press conference held at the commission, he said that the number of votes cast for the upcoming elections is high and that counting of votes will take a long time.
The Chairman of the Elections Commission stated that the system of electronic voting should be held as a rehearsal for the upcoming Local Government Elections. He added that it is now possible to obtain the assistance of either India or the University of Moratuwa.
