With effect from January 01, 2023, the necessary facilities will be provided to complete the Arrival and Departure Card (Arrival and Departure Card) filled by foreigners coming to Sri Lanka and Sri Lankans leaving Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, air passengers can visit the official website of the Department of Immigration and Emigration www.immigration.gov.lk or through the web page https://eservices.immigration.gov.lk/emb/eEmbarkation to fill this card three days before the scheduled date of departure. Facilities provided.
According to the Controller General of the Immigration and Emigration Department Mr. Harsha Ilukpitiya, this step was taken with the aim of providing necessary facilities to the passengers to avoid inconveniences at the airport and carry out immigration or emigration activities easily.
