The publication of the final beneficiary name list under the Aswasuma Social Welfare Programme is still pending. The district secretaries and regional secretaries will evaluate the appeals and objections received, and subsequently release the finalized list of beneficiaries. In the event that any further instances of unfairness are discovered during this process, the Welfare Benefits Board will intervene. Several surveys have revealed that approximately 30% of welfare benefits are being received by individuals who do not meet the qualification criteria. The new survey aims to address this issue by implementing a transparent and politically impartial program that provides additional benefits to those in need.

Efforts are underway to ensure that the July installment is disbursed to eligible families who are not subject to appeals or objections. Furthermore, the beneficiary name list for low-income senior citizens, kidney patients, and individuals with disabilities will be made available next week.
